I stayed at this hotel and really appreciated its great location in the city center; however, the noise from outside kept me from getting a good night's sleep. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was a good value, but the room I had was a bit of a hike up steep stairs, which wasn't ideal. Overall, it has its pros and cons, especially regarding comfort and noise levels.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel in downtown Funchal. The location is very convenient, right in the city center and close to the old town, but the constant noise from the nearby bar made it hard to relax. The rooms were cozy, although having only one plug socket was a bit frustrating. The staff were fantastic and very helpful, which really made up for some of the downsides. Overall, it’s good value for the price, but be prepared for the noise.
